Kinect for Xbox 360

Kinect for Xbox 360 has rocked the gaming industry since its presence. First released in North America on November 4, 2010, this motion gaming device has amazing sales even exceeds the sales of iPad. Kinect for Xbox 360 claimed to have sold approximately 2.5 million units within 25 days since its first release date while iPad itself only sold approximately 2 million units in two months from its launch date. Within first 60 days, Kinect for Xbox 360 has sold over 8 million units with average sales per day reaching 133,333 units. With such tremendous sales, Kinect for Xbox 360 was recorded in the Guinness World Record as “the fastest selling consumer electronics devices”.

Motion gaming technology isn’t actually new. Nintendo has introduced the technology a few years ago, followed later by the PlayStation Move in September 2010. Kinect for Xbox 360 came last and was able to make its rivals stunned. As of March 9, 2011, Kinect for Xbox 360 has sold over 10 million units, while the PlayStation Move as April 3, 2011 has sold 8 million units worldwide. What makes Kinect for Xbox 360 so phenomenal?

Here I will give you some reasons why many people like Kinect for Xbox 360 and want to buy it.

1. You Are The Controller

Kinect for Xbox 360 has a very sophisticated technology so you don’t need any controller to play games on the Xbox 360, thing that its rivals don’t have. Kinect for Xbox 360 has a motion sensor that tracks your entire body. So all of your body parts can be used to play games, not only arms but also legs, knees, hips, waist and so on. Kinect for Xbox 360 responds to how you move. You can also control movies and music with the sound of your voice or the wave of your hand without any extra accessories. Kinect for Xbox 360 provides an amazing experience in the world of gaming and entertainment that you’ve never seen before.

2. Kinect for Xbox 360 Recognizes You

Kinect for Xbox 360 will easily recognize you and automatically access your avatar once you wave your hand to activate the sensor. This happens because this sophisticated device collects physical data that’s stored in your profile making it easier for you to jump in and out different games and share plus show off your moves whenever you want.

Voice recognition technology allows Kinect for Xbox 360 to respond to the sound of your voice. Four strategically placed microphones within the sensor are able to recognize and separate your voice from the other noises in the room. You can reveal a series of voice commands just by saying “Xbox”. By using Kinect for Xbox 360 you can control HD movies and more with your voice without using the remote.

3. Lots of Games for Everyone

There are many games you can play using Kinect for Xbox 360. Surely, anyone can play and have a blast. Right now those games are mostly family games and exclusive (can’t be played on another console). I believe that in the future there will be more genres that can be played using Kinect for Xbox 360.
